MTV News sits down with Iggy to talk about “The New Classic”. T.I. to executive produce the album.

The 21 year old rapper stopped by MTV News to speak about her new album, The New Classic that is slated for a June release this summer and also revealed that T.I. would be the executive producer for the record. She joked about each others’ “legal issues” as T.I. has faced incarceration in the past, while Iggy’s citizenship has prevented her from touring around the country.

Iggy plans on spending the entire month of February in the studio to write the tracks for the album. The months that follow before June will revolve on the actual production of the records. The first single is said to be coming out in March.
